Bible Memory

One of the things i did last week was to get a journal and oil pastels for the kids. They love to scribble- Dan especially. I thought it would be more like a writing journal for Sam, but it turned out more like a drawing journal:)

I happily incorporated their bible memory verses with drawings in the journal. I must say that Samuel is doing well with his bible memory- so far, he can rattle off these verses like a rocket train... esp John 3:16 and 2 Cor 5:17:-
- John 3 :16,
- 2 Cor 5 :17,
- Psalms 47:2,
- Psalms 63:3,
- Genesis 1:1,
- John 15:5
- and the latest one is from Psalms 119:105.

Daniel, on the other hand, loves Christian action songs! He loves the actions 'Bible' and 'strong' in the song Jesus loves me:)

The top pic is my drawing of the Bible Memory for Sam and Sam's own version of the cross. Looking at the drawing and knowing some sign language for this verse helps Samuel (and Mummy!:) to memorise it quickly!:)

The bottom pic is Dan's scribbling on the Cross, which i drew and coloured for him:)
